Hello! My name is Sarah Stevens, and I am your certified ISR Instructor at S.S. ISR Tallahassee.

I am a Tallahassee native, and graduated from Florida State University with my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I taught kindergarten and second grade before bringing my little girl, Ellie Mae, into the world. 

I am in my happy place when I am in the sunshine and near the water. When my daughter began walking, she was absolutely fearless around the water and would walk straight into the pool. I knew that she needed some survival skills to give me peace of mind, and choosing ISR was the best decision I have made as a parent! 

There is nothing more precious to us than our children, and we would do anything to keep them safe. Thrilled with the results of my daughter's lessons, I knew I wanted to join ISR's mission, "Not one more child drowns." I decided to combine my love of teaching young children with my love of the water and become an ISR instructor. I completed my training with the wonderful Tanja Bacigalupi, who has been teaching ISR for over 20 years!
